East Side Mario`s in Red Deer

The food was nothing special. The spider webs and dust on the light was quite impressive. They should clean more! Won't be back.

Nice restaurant in general. Came here for dinner on the way back to Calgary. The food here tastes absolutely delicious, and the restaurant itself had a very nice feel with very cool elements inside. Our server was also really friendly too. Great experience in general. Very clean, and warm feeling when you're in that restaurant.

We love this place. There was room between tables, all staff were wearing masks. Yummy un ending breads and salads. Our waitress navigated the deals to make sure we saved $7. Nice! We used our air miles and our scene card!! Nice. Bottle neck at the doors for social distancing, but then again, very few arrive cases in the alberta central zone.

Came for lunch. We were seated right away. We were chatting and hadn't opened the menu yet, server was very good about it. Came by often to check if we were ready. Our food was hot and reasonably quick after we finally did order. Great food, great service.

This is one of my favourite restaurant in town to have lunch, food always fresh, family environment, 👌🏽 decent price!!!!

Food is good and reliable. Tried gluten free pizza for the first time. Crust tasted like baking soda. Won't order that again. Service was excellent.

We enjoyed our dinner out tonight. We ordered the junior chicken parm and a pizza. Both were very good. The pasta dishes are quite pricey though. Our server was very friendly and they enforced good sanitation practises, especially since this was their first day of opening since the shutdown.

Service was not very good, food was okay. Prices are high.

We ordered starters with our order and then we waited. Everything came at once, the soup and salad came first then the starters and immediately came the main course. My starter ended up being cold by the time I could get to it, I had to make a choice which dish too eat hot. Nothing like hard cheese that was melted and then cooled. I don't know if they were under staffed which would explain the service. The food was average but I wouldn't recommend ordering the steak. Everyone said the pasta was good. Not really sure if I'd come again

Family friendly! Ask to have Amiee as your server as she is friendly, fun and accommodating. She remembered our kid's names from a previous visit and made our dining experience enjoyable with some little extras!

Great food and service. Waitress was polite food served quick everything clean and tidy. Good distance management.

Ordered the family meal online for curbside pick up. Ordered ahead to have it ready at 4:40pm. Pulled up to the pick up area at 4:40 and sent in all my details. Got a text saying “Hi Jason, we’ve let the kitchen know you’re here. Please wait in your car, and we will text you further instructions shortly. Thank you!” After 20 minutes, and 3 skip the dishes drivers getting their orders, I left my vehicle and knocked on the door. The lady apologized and said they misplaced the iPad that shows their online orders. Needless to say the food was not hot by the time we made it home.

This is my second time going to east side Mario’s. The food is great but the time to get the food was long. Food tastes great little spicy when still warm. I had a Watermelon drink that tasted great a little cold but no problem with the drink. I had lasagna which was one of the tasting meals from a restaurant in a little while.

We love the Calamari Diablo and ofcourse the fresh bread!

Great food, decent price, nice location and clean restaurant. Our server was Amy, and she was very friendly, polite and professional. Plus, she was wearing a mask. :)

1000%! Good everything. Service, food, crowd, atmosphere. Went there for my birthday on Dec 28. A party of 13. Was a blast! The waitresses name slips my mind but she was amazing. She deserves an abundance of tips and a raise!

We normally love eating at East Side Mario's in red deer and have always been happy with our service and the food. Today I was turned away at the door because I wouldn't give them my phone number. This is not a health order, but a recommendation and in that recommendation it clearly states that customers should be asked not forced. We all need to stop making this harder than it needs to be.

Our experience was great. We had an absolutely wonderful server. The only thing negative I would say is there lunch menu could have been a little better. Other than that,great experience.

Very expensive for food that tastes sub par. The lunch portion of pasta is $13, very small (I was still hungry after), and does not include soup or salad. Better deal to get a supper meal for the bigger portion and unlimited pasta/salad for $18. I thought the rosé sauce was pretty flavourless and barely enough on my pasta.

Very good meal. It was buy one entree get one free to take home. Enjoyed the atmosphere

The food is always pretty decent for the price the food is always pretty decent for the price. We ate here September 29th. Fairly busy no wait time food was out in a good amount of time. However the server that we had seemed like she had no desire to be there. Had to ask for water and coffee multiple times

I thought one could not go wrong ordering pasta. The seafood linguine had such potential however, the sauce was bland and what I would have expected in a meatball spaghetti from a buffet catering service. The pasta itself was slightly undercooked but not enough to be bothered. The shrimp was flavorless as if steamed or fried in pan with no butter or other fixings. I did enjoy the muscles, good size and flavourful. My wife's dish had a wine sauce that could have paired perfectly in mine. Her dish suffered from similar problems but was improved with a better sauce. Waitress was nice, forgot to bring the dessert but it was busy in there and also not a bother. Food portions were a good size albeit not worth bringing home for leftovers. Looks like ESM has many positive reviews, maybe this was a one off....

The food is good and I can always expect it to be what I'm wanting but I find their service can be slow at times.

I would never eat here again, I ordered mild sauce wings and a small salad , the wings were so heavily breaded couldn’t taste the chicken , the sauce was lightly drizzle over the wings barely covering them and it was a sweet bbq sauce. The salad was wilted and soggy , like it had been sitting out all day. The waitress seemed out of sorts, we hardly saw her. I asked to see a menu again to see if the wings were advertised as breaded, they were not. She never asked how are meals were or came back to see if I wanted something more from the menu. My friends stated their Caesar salads were soggy as well. I definitely will not return here. I tried completing the guest how did we do feedback, and it didn’t work, stated the survey was over. We were there Friday night and I did the survey today or tried to.

Service is fast and friendly. Food portions are huge given what you pay. Sitting outside in the sun with good company is awesome, even next to the busy street

We go here a lot because it's a great family restaurant. The servers are always friendly and helpful and the food is consistently excellent.

The shrimp in my pasta was tiny and tasted like it had been fried in flour as it was tough and flavorless. The bacon saved the vodka sauce. Asked for more bread as they offer unlimited salad and garlic loaf.. we then got our meals but not the bread we asked for. Service was otherwise fast and friendly.

Always delicious! Like coming home for supper. Love eating here.
